How often should I wash my face?

How often should I wash my face?

It's advisable to wash your face at least once a day, twice is better. If you can only wash your face one time a day, it's best to do it at night. This removes dirt, grime, and makeup.  How often you do wash your face also depends on your skin type and the goals you have for your skin. Like if you want clearer skin, glowing skin, or just want to feel refreshed.

I have oily skin, what should I use to wash my face?

Oatmeal, honey, aloe vera, cosmetic clay, and almonds are good for oily skin. You should be washing your face twice a day, morning and night. Using astringent on your face and causing your skin to dry out, then you'll have 2 issues to deal with. You may need blotting papers in between washes. It's also perfectly fine to wash your face 3 times a day. Using a natural soap, free of chemicals will help with oily skin. Make sure to wash your face regularly. If changing soaps and your methods of face washing, then see a doctor. There may be underlying issues.

I have dry skin, what will help me?

Gently wash your face at least once a day and use a quality, natural moisturizer. Switching to a natural soap can help with dry skin. Chemicals can be harsh on a sensitive face. Over washing can cause your skin to dry out. Olive oil, coconut oil, oatmeal, and honey can help moisturize dry skin. Changing temperatures, humidity, harsh soaps, and eczema can cause dry skin. If changing your soap and methods of cleaning your face don't help with your issues, please see a doctor.

I have combination skin, what can I do?

Using a natural soap, that is made with organic, natural ingredients can help with combination skin. Look carefully at the ingredients to make sure the oils, coloring, and scent are all natural. Wash your face at least once a day, preferably twice. Oatmeal can help with dry and oily skin, so try using a bar of soap with oatmeal, goat's milk, almond, or honey. Of course, the goats' milk and honey options won't be vegan but there are plenty of options without those 2 ingredients.

Don't panic if you notice some oily skin or dry patches. The best thing to do is look at your skincare routine. You may need to adjust the way you're doing things. It could be a simple thing like washing twice a day, changing your soap, or just sticking with the routine. Even if you are rushing, take time for yourself and your skincare. I mean, where would we be without our skin?
