What's In The Base Oil Blend?
Our products contain Organic and Conventual olive oil, a traditional mild emollient used in soap making that provides a rich moisturizing feel. Fun fact: Did you know olive branches were found in the tombs of Ancient Egyptians in 2000 B.C? That was long ago, and the health benefits still ring true to this day. The production of olive oil was assumed to date back to 4,000 B.C. Isn't it amazing how skincare was important so long ago? What's amazing is that it hasn't changed much since then. We still use olive oil in our skincare routines today. Fun fact: Olive oil is most commonly imported from Spain, Tunisia, and Greece.
How Does Coconut Oil Help?
Organic coconut oil has emollient properties that can be beneficial to repairing the skin's barrier function. The lauric acid in coconut oil gives it microbial properties. Coconut oil is an especially helpful addition to your skincare routine if you have dry, sensitive skin. It's great for trapping in moisture. Coconut oil also creates a fantastic lather. Enriching your bathing experience. Coconut oil is naturally antifungal, antibacterial, and moisturizing.
Is Sunflower Oil Good For Skin?
Organic Sunflower Oil is very similar to olive oil except it has a lighter and cleaner feel to it. It's considered a non-comedogenic carrier, meaning it won't clog pores and can be used by all skin types. Sunflower Oil makes the skin feels ohhh-sooo-nice when used. The ratio of sunflower oil is a key factor in making a luxurious bar of soap.
The Wonderous Shea Butter
Organic Shea Butter creates a soft, creamy texture and adds another moisturizing element to the soap brik. It works as an emollient to soften and hydrate your skin. Shea Butter contains several types of fatty acids including lineoleic, oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids that improve the skin's natural barrier. Shea butter also protects the skin from damage from the environment like pollutants. Fun fact: Our supplier only uses Fair Trade Organic Shea Butter which helps support the environment and the communities that cultivate the product.
Isn't Palm Oil Bad?
Responsibly Sourced Organic Palm Oil is critical in balancing the softness that sunflower oil and olive oil provide. Palm oil prevents dryness by sealing in moisture. It is a necessary ingredient to produce a stable and hard soap brik that lasts through repeated use. This is done without sacrificing the overall quality of the product, the user's experience, or adding undesirable ingredients. We are proud to say that our products exclusively use responsibly sourced palm oil that is grown and harvested using only sustainable methods.

How Is Palm Kernel Different?
Organic Palm Kernel Oil is not from the fruit but from the kernel, the meat of the seed. Palm kernel oil contains vitamins A and E, and is rich in lauric acid, linoleic acid, and other fatty acids which are great for the skin. It is similar to coconut oil, as It adds some additional hardness to the soap brick. Palm Kernel oil also adds that rich and fluffy lather everyone's body loves. Palm kernel oil contains anti-oxidants that fight against free radicals. We are proud that the Palm kernel used in our soap is sustainable and responsibly sourced.
Hemp oil may be incorporated for a unique feeling on your skin. Hemp Seed is full of fatty acids that help hydrate dry, flaky skin. Hemp oil adds moisture without clogging pores, which makes it good for balancing out oily skin. Fun Fact: Unrefined hemp oil is used in our soap. This helps to eliminate the potential for contamination by cutting out the refining process. This means we can offer a higher-quality product to our customers.
Make The Change To Natural Soap
You'll notice that you may need to change the way you use and treat your soap. For example: leaving it to sit in a pool of water may break the soap down quicker than if you use a soap keeper or slotted soap dish, which allows it to dry between uses. When your skin is properly hydrated, it has a happy shine and you'll radiate. Skincare begins in the shower (or bath). You're soap should nourish your skin and tantalize your senses. The hardest part is deciding which ones are your favorite scents.
