C & B Pine Tar Cruelty Free Bar Soap

C & B Pine Tar soap is cruelty-free and vegan, made with pine tar, cypress, and copaiba balsam to cleanse, refresh, and hydrate skin without leaving tub stains. Infused with copaiba balsam oil to fight germs and cypress oil to soothe and moisturize, this soap also contains lemongrass essential oil for rejuvenation and as a natural insect repellent. Pine tar is produced from pine wood through intense heat and distillation.

According to the National Library of Medicine, "Pine tar has been used in medicine for more than 2000 years to treat a range of skin conditions because of its soothing and antiseptic properties. In addition, pine tar has been shown to be antipruritic, anti‐inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal. These properties make pine tar suitable for the topical treatment of eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and other dry, itchy, flaky, or inflamed skin conditions."
