There’s a moment in everyone’s life when something shifts. For me, it wasn’t one single moment — it was a series of them. A slow, sometimes painful, always revealing journey that brought me from the surface of things to the soul of them.
You probably know me as the founder of The Smelly Panda Soap Company. You know I care deeply about what goes on your body — the ingredients, the intention, the craft behind every bar of soap and body cream. But what I haven’t shared as openly is what was happening inside — and how that journey led me here, to this blog, and to the decision to become a certified health and wellness coach.
Why Holistic Wellness?
Because “just treat the symptom” was never enough for me. I’ve lived through the kind of struggles that don’t show up on a lab report — the emotional weight, the mental fog, the physical toll that stress and life can take when you’re not paying attention to the whole picture. I learned, sometimes the hard way, that true healing means looking at all of it: your body, your mind, and your spirit together.
That’s what holistic wellness means to me. Not a quick fix. Not a cure. A way of living that honors every part of who you are.
What This Blog Is About
As I go through my coaching education, I’ll be sharing what I learn — the science, the practices, the real conversations about emotional and mental well-being that we don’t have enough of. I’ll talk about my journey honestly, including the hard parts, because I believe that’s where the real connection happens.
And yes — I’ll still be talking about skin. Because your skin tells a story. It reflects what’s happening inside. The Smelly Panda was always about more than soap, and now we’re going deeper.
You’re Invited
Whether you’re here because you love our products, because you’re curious about holistic wellness, or because something in you is ready for more — welcome. This is your space too.
